      • The device may not be operated in explosive atmospheres.

      • Do not spray steam in the direction of another person, animal or electrical outlet.

      • Never fill solvents, solvent-containing liquids or undiluted acids (e.g. detergents, petrol, paint thinner, and acetone) into the water reservoir as these substances corrode the materials used in the device.

      • Do not operate the device without water in the tank. Always top off with water when needed.

      • Never insert objects into the device openings. Do not use the device if the device openings are blocked.

      • Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in off‑position before picking up or carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance with your fingers on the switch or energizing appliance that have the switch on invites accidents.

      • Do not use with damaged battery charger output cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, contact customer service.

      • Do not pull or carry by the battery charger output cord, do not use battery charger output cord as a handle, do not close a door on the battery charger output cord, or pull battery charger output cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over battery charger output cord. Keep battery charger output cord away from heated surfaces.

      • Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.

      • Do not unplug by pulling battery charger output cord. To unplug, grasp plug.

      • Do not handle battery charger or appliance with wet hands.

      • Do not put any objects into openings. Do not use if openings are blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.

      • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.

      • Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

      • Do not charge the unit outdoors.

      • Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to charge the device.

      • Do not incinerate the device, even if it is severely damaged. The battery pack could catch fire and explode.

      • Short circuit hazard! Do not insert conductive objects (such as screwdrivers or similar) into the charger plug.

      • You may recharge the battery using only the original charger provided with the appliance or a charger approved by KÄRCHER.

      • In case of visual damage, replace the charger with original manufacturer suggested parts.

      • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

      • Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.

      • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.

      • Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

      • The voltage indicated on the type plate must correspond to the supply voltage.

      • Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 265 °F (130 °C) may cause explosion.

      • Store and use the charger in dry rooms only, ambient temperature 41‑104 °F (5‑40 °C).

      • Do not store and operate the appliance at temperatures below 32 °F (0 °C).
