Preparation
Unpack the device and install the accessories.
Initial startup
Check if the main filter basket is inserted in the device.
Operating modes
Operation with the filter bag
Operation without the filter bag
Installing the filter bag
Unlock and remove the suction head.
Remove the main filter basket.
Fit the fleece filter bag.
Insert the main filter basket.
Fit and lock the suction head.
Operation
Switching on the device
Connect the mains plug.
Switch on the device at the main switch.
Cleaning mode
Set the floor nozzle switch to hard surface or carpet.
Perform cleaning.
Switching off the device
Switch off the device at the main switch.
Pull out the mains plug.
Each time after use
Empty the container.
Vacuum off the inside and outside of the device and clean with a moist cloth.

ATTENTION
Danger from wet main filter basket
Risk of damage to the device
Never insert the main filter basket when wet.If necessary, clean the main filter basket (washable) under running water.
Replacing the motor protection filter
T 11/1 Classic only:
Unlock and remove the suction head.
Remove the motor protection filter.
Fit the new motor protection filter.
Fit and lock the suction head.
Replacing the HEPA filter
T 11/1 Classic HEPA only:
Unlock and remove the suction head.
Turn the HEPA filter anticlockwise and remove it.
Place the new HEPA filter on the adapter plate and tighten it clockwise as far as it will go.
Fit and lock the suction head.
Replacing the mains cable
Only T 11/1 Classic Adv Re!Plast:
Replace the mains cable.
Troubleshooting guide
DANGER
Danger of electric shock
Injuries due to touching live parts
Switch off the device.Remove the mains plug.The device stops during operation
Cause:
The motor thermo-protector has triggered
Remedy:
Changing the fleece filter bag.
T 11/1 Classic only: Replace the motor protection filter.
T 11/1 Classic HEPA only: Replace the HEPA filter.
Check all parts for clogging.
Allow the engine turbine to cool for approx. 30-40 minutes. Switch on the device.
Suction turbine does not start up
Remedy:
Check the socket and the power supply fuse.
Check the mains cable and the mains plug of the device.
Switch on the device.
Suction power decreases
Remedy:
Remove any blockages from the suction nozzle, suction pipe or suction hose.
Changing the fleece filter bag.
Clean the main filter basket under running water and dry.
Position/lock the suction head correctly.
Replace the defective suction hose.
T 11/1 Classic only: Replace the motor protection filter.
T 11/1 Classic HEPA only: Replace the HEPA filter.
Escaping dust when vacuuming
Remedy:
Changing the fleece filter bag.
Check the fit of the fleece filter bag.
Position/lock the suction head correctly.
Insert the undamaged main filter basket.
Insert the motor protection filter correctly.
T 11/1 Classic HEPA only: Fasten the HEPA filter correctly.
Customer Service department
If the malfunction cannot be corrected, the device must be checked by the Customer Service department.
The device stops during operation
Cause:
The motor thermo-protector has triggered
Remedy:
Changing the fleece filter bag.
T 11/1 Classic only: Replace the motor protection filter.
T 11/1 Classic HEPA only: Replace the HEPA filter.
Check all parts for clogging.
