      General notes

      Read these original operating instructions and the enclosed safety instructions before using the device for the first time. Proceed accordingly.

      Keep both books for future reference or for future owners.

      Intended use

      1. The Surface Cleaner can be used with most pressure washers with up to 18 Mpa.

      2. Use on horizontal surfaces like driveways, patios, sidewalks, etc. Use on vertical surfaces like brick walls, stucco and other siding. (Always test in inconspicuous area first.)

      Environmental protection

      The packing materials can be recycled. Please dispose of packaging in accordance with the environmental regulations.

      Electrical and electronic devices contain valuable, recyclable materials and often components such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil, which - if handled or disposed of incorrectly - can pose a potential danger to human health and the environment. However, these components are required for the correct operation of the device. Devices marked by this symbol are not allowed to be disposed of together with the household rubbish.

      Safety instructions

      WARNING

      • Observe the safety instructions of your pressure washer.

      • The Surface Cleaner must not be used by children.

      • Only trigger the gun of the pressure washer if the Surface Cleaner is on the

        surface to be cleaned.

      • Keep all persons/animals clear of the immediate vicinity of the cleaning head.

      • Keep hands away from moving parts.

      • Turn off the pressure washer when examining or changing the Surface Cleaner and after the completion of the cleaning operation.

      • Maximum water temperature allowed is 60°C. Follow the instructions for your pressure washer.

      CAUTION

      • The Surface Cleaner is not suited for scouring or scrubbing.

      • Do not run over free standing corners.

      • For the optimum setting, test the Surface Cleaner in an inconspicuous area.

      Description of the device

      Assembly

      1. Align the lance and fitting with the inlet port, turn the lance clockwise.

      2. Before attaching the lance, make sure the O-ring is placed on the bottom of the end fitting.


      Operation

      Note

      • If striping or swirling occurs, slow your pace.

      • If striping or swirling continues, the surface cleaner skirt bristles may be worn and in need of replacement.

      • Always squeeze the gun’s trigger to release any residual pressure immediately after use. Engage the trigger lock when not in use.

      1. Connect hose to the pressure washer and start power washer as described in its owner’s manual.

      2. Walk slowly behind the cleaning deck, cleaning as you move forward.


      Care and Service

      ATTENTION

      A clogged or dirty nozzle will result in excessive pump pressure causing a pulsing sensation.

      1. Turn off the power washer and turn off the water supply. Release the residual pressure by squeezing the gun’s trigger.

      2. Disconnect the power washer from the surface cleaner.

      3. Using a 14 mm wrench (not provided), remove the nozzle from the spray bar.

      4. Using the pin or a straightened paper clip, free any foreign material clogging or restricting the nozzle.


      5. Use a garden hose to flush debris out of the nozzle. Direct the flow of water through the nozzle backwards from the outside to the inside.

      6. Reinstall the nozzle to the spray bar. Tighten securely. Align the nozzle opening with the spray bar.


      7. Reconnect the Surface Cleaner to the power washer lance.
