Before using the device for the first time, read this safety chapter, these original instructions, the original instructions and the safety booklet of the high-pressure cleaner. Proceed accordingly.
Keep the booklets for future reference or for future owners.
In addition to the notes in the operating instructions and safety booklet, you also need to take into consideration the general safety regulations and accident prevention guidelines applicable by law.

Observe the safety instructions included with the high-pressure cleaner.
Do not actuate the trigger of the high-pressure gun until the minimum insertion mark is completely inside the pipe to be cleaned.
During high-pressure operation, do not pull the pipe cleaning hose out of the pipe further than the minimum insertion mark.
In certain situations, the pipe cleaning hose may change direction within the pipe, causing the jet nozzle to come out of the pipe. The danger grows as the internal diameter of the pipe being cleaned increases. Release the trigger of the high-pressure gun immediately when the jet nozzle emerges from the pipe.
Switch the high-pressure cleaner off and remove the pipe cleaning hose on the high-pressure gun after finishing the cleaning work.
Only applies to Germany:
When using the pipe cleaning hose for interior pipe cleaning, comply with the accident prevention guideline DGUV Rule 100-500, Chapter 2.36.Children must not operate the device.
This device must not be used by persons (including children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental abilities or those lacking in experience and knowledge.
Only use the device for its proper use. Take into account the local conditions and beware of third parties, in particular children, when working with the device.
Children must be supervised to prevent them from playing with the appliance.
The water temperature must not exceed 60 °C (140 °F).
The pipe cleaning hose is intended exclusively for use with KÄRCHER high-pressure cleaners in unit classes K 2 to K 7.
The pipe cleaning hose is suitable for cleaning pipes and drains with the following dimensions:
Diameter at least 40 mm (1.5")
Bending radius at least 70 mm (2.75")
Bending angle maximum 90°
Only use the pipe cleaning hose in private households.
The packing materials can be recycled. Please dispose of packaging in accordance with the environmental regulations.
Old devices contain valuable, recyclable materials that should be recycled. Therefore, please dispose of old devices using suitable collection systems.

The scope of delivery for the appliance is shown on the packaging. Check the contents for completeness when unpacking. If any accessories are missing or in the event of any shipping damage, please notify your dealer.
Get the high-pressure cleaner ready for use.
Lock the trigger of the high-pressure gun.
Fit the pipe cleaning hose on the high-pressure gun:
Press the coupling plug of the pipe cleaning hose into the coupling socket of the high-pressure gun.
Turn the coupling plug until it engages.
Depending on the application, select the rotating or static jet nozzle.
Screw the appropriate jet nozzle onto the pipe cleaning hose and tighten hand-tight.
If needed, use a 13 mm open-end wrench on the flats of the jet nozzle to loosen it.
Risk of injury from high-pressure jet!
If the pipe cleaning hose is not inserted into the pipe at least up to the minimum insertion mark, there is a risk of injury from the high-pressure jet.
Only actuate the trigger of the high-pressure gun when the minimum insertion mark is entirely inside the pipe.
During high-pressure operation, do not pull the pipe cleaning hose out of the pipe further than the minimum insertion mark.
Keep body parts away from the pipe opening during high-pressure operation.
Push the pipe cleaning hose into the pipe to be cleaned at least up to the minimum insertion mark.
Unlock the trigger of the high-pressure gun.
Pull the trigger of the high-pressure gun and slowly push the pipe cleaning hose further into the pipe.
If the jet nozzle hits a blocked area, keep the trigger of the high-pressure gun pressed continuously and pull the pipe cleaning hose back slightly several times and release it again.
If needed or in case of heavy contamination, repeat the cleaning process multiple times.
Release and lock the trigger of the high-pressure gun.
Switch off the high-pressure cleaner.
Pull the pipe cleaning hose out of the pipe.
Remove the pipe cleaning hose on the high-pressure gun.
Clean the pipe cleaning hose and the jet nozzle.
Shut down the high-pressure cleaner.
