This device can be operated with 36 V Battery Power+ battery packs.
Before using the device for the first time, read and observe these operating instructions and the accompanying brochure: Safety instructions for brush cleaning devices No. 5.956-251.0.
The packing materials can be recycled. Please dispose of packaging in accordance with the environmental regulations.
Electrical and electronic devices contain valuable, recyclable materials and often components such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil, which - if handled or disposed of incorrectly - can pose a potential danger to human health and the environment. However, these components are required for the correct operation of the device. Devices marked by this symbol are not allowed to be disposed of together with the household rubbish.

This device is suitable for commercial and industrial use, e.g. in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, offices and rental companies. Use the device only in accordance with the information in these operating instructions.
The device may only be used for cleaning smooth surfaces that are insensitive to water and polishing.
The device is not suitable for cleaning frozen floors (e.g. in cold stores).
The device is not suitable for use in potentially explosive environments.
Do not immerse the device or any part of it in water or pour water over it.
Only use original accessories and original spare parts. They ensure that the appliance will run fault-free and safely.
Information on accessories and spare parts can be found at www.kaercher.com.
The scope of delivery for the appliance is shown on the packaging. Check the contents for completeness when unpacking. If any accessories are missing or in the event of any shipping damage, please notify your dealer.

Charge the battery pack (see operating instructions and safety instructions for the battery pack and the charger).
Push the battery pack into the battery mount on the device until the battery pack latches into place.

The fresh water tank can remain in the device for filling or can also be removed from the device.
If necessary, remove the fresh water tank from the device by pulling the recessed grip.

Screw on the tank lock.
Pull out the filling hose.

Fill the fresh water tank via the filling hose with clean tap water (max. 40°C) up to the MAX marking at most. If detergent is to be used, fill in less fresh water accordingly.
If necessary, add KÄRCHER detergent or care agent to the fresh water tank.
Over- or underdosing of the detergent or care agent
Can result in poor cleaning results.
Observe the recommended dosage for the detergent and care agents.For optimal cleaning and care results, we recommend using only KÄRCHER products and the dosing head.
Push the filling hose back into the fresh water tank.
Close the tank cap.
If necessary, reinsert the fresh water tank into the device.
Release the tilt adjustment lever.

The lever remains released during operation (in the upper position), so the inclination of the column remains variable and facilitates driving during operation.
Secure the column in the set inclination using the lever.
Release the lever for adjusting the height of the control head and move it to the desired height.

Secure the operating head at the set height using the lever.
Moisture
Material damage to sensitive floors
Check the surface to be cleaned for water sensitivity at an inconspicuous location before using the device. Do not clean water-sensitive floor coverings such as e.g. untreated cork floors, since the moisture can penetrate and damage the floor.Risk of damage due to moisture and detergents as well as the device tipping over
Risk of material damage on sensitive floors and on the cleaning rollers due to prolonged exposure to moisture and detergents.
Risk of material damage if the device falls over.
Always move the device to the parking position when you take a break from work and after work.Do not lean the device against walls, doors or other objects when setting it down.If the cleaning brushes are blocked bye.g. jamming, the device switches off.
The warning light illuminates.
To remove the blockage, the device must be restarted by pressing the on/off switch twice.
The first press clears the error and the second press switches the device on.
If the ON / OFF switch is not pressed, the warning light will go out after 10 seconds. To switch the device on, press the ON / OFF switch once.

The capacity of the battery pack is shown on the display as a percentage. If the charge is low, the symbol is orange. If the capacity of the battery pack is almost exhausted, the symbol is red.
To prevent the battery pack from being totally discharged, the device will switch itself off before the battery pack is completely flat.
Switch off the device and move it to the parking position whenever work is interrupted and at the end of work (see Interrupting operation). When the device is in its parking position, the cleaning rollers do not touch the floor.
When switching off the device, do not lean it against walls, doors or other objects; instead, set it to its parking position.
Bring the device into working position by pushing the brush head forwards with your foot from the operating position.

Release the tilt adjustment lever (see Setting the device ergonomically).
Press the ON / OFF switch.

The device switches on.
The ring around the control unit lights up blue (the device starts in Eco mode, see (→)).
If necessary, adjust the water supply (see chapter Adjusting the water supply) and lower the suction bar (see chapter Lower the suction bar).
Grasp the handle and press and hold both handle switches simultaneously.

Uncontrolled movement
Equipment and material damage.
As soon as the two handle switches are pressed, the device starts moving.
Hold the device firmly by both handles.The device starts to move.
The cleaning brushes rotate.
Suction is in progress.
Depending on the setting, water is added for cleaning.
The device is switched on.
Press the button with the tap symbol.

A bar display shows the amount of water added in 3 stages.
Press the button repeatedly until the desired level is reached.
After reaching the highest level, pressing the button again switches the water supply off again.
The amount or level of water added is shown during operation via the three water drop symbols on the display.
When adding water for cleaning, the suction bar must be lowered so that the discharged water can be sucked up.
Pull the eyelet from the holder on the back of the device.

To lift the suction bar, hang the eyelet back over the bracket.
After switching on, the device is always in Eco mode.
The ring around the control unit lights up blue.
The suction performance is reduced.
To deactivate Eco mode, press the button with the e symbol.

To reactivate Eco mode, press the button with the e symbol again.
Empty the waste water tank as soon as the fresh water tank is empty, or if the device no longer absorbs moisture and there is water left on the floor.
Press the ON/OFF switch to turn off the device.
Set the device to its parking position (see chapter General information on operation).
Lift the waste water tank by the handle and remove it from the brush head.

To transport the waste water tank to the emptying point, carry it by the carrying handle or by the drip tray. Keep the waste water tank level, otherwise waste water can escape.

The waste water tank can be emptied in two ways:
Open the drain lock and empty the waste water.

Press the lock on the lid, open the lid and remove it in a vertical position.

In the case of stubborn dirt, rinse out the waste water tank with tap water (see chapter Cleaning the waste water tank).
Insert the waste water tank into the device in reverse order.

Risk of material damage on sensitive floors and on the cleaning rollers due to prolonged exposure to moisture and detergents.
Risk of material damage if the device falls over.

The device switches off.
Bring the device into the parking position by blocking the cleaning head with the foot and tipping the device backwards onto the transport rolls so that the feet at the bottom of the device can fold out.

Bring the column into a vertical position (see chapter Setting the device ergonomically).
Press the ON / OFF switch.
The device switches off.
Set the device to its parking position (see chapter Interrupting operation).
Grasp the fresh water tank by the recessed grip and remove it from the device.

Press the unlocking button for the battery pack and remove the battery pack from the battery pack holder.

Charge the battery pack.
Also charge battery packs after use if they are partially discharged.
Adhering dirt deposits
Adhering dirt deposits can damage the device in the long term.
It is recommended to clean the device completely after each application.Clean the device (see chapter Cleaning the device).
Failure to observe the weight
Risk of injury and damage
Be aware of the weight of the device during transportation.To carry the device, reach into the handle bowl under the battery mount.

When transporting the device in vehicles, secure it to prevent it from slipping or overturning in accordance with the respectively applicable guidelines.
Risk of damage and the development of odors due to liquids and damp dirt
Liquids and damp dirt in the device can lead to the accumulation of bacteria and the development of odors when the device is not being used or if it is in storage.
Damp dirt can dry up in the device and become caked on the cleaning rollers, thereby impairing the cleaning performance of the device.
Empty the fresh water tank and waste water tank when finishing work and before storing the device.Clean the waste water tank and the cleaning brushes.Allow the cleaning brushes to air dry, either mounted on the device or placed loose. Do not place wet cleaning brushes on moisture-sensitive surfaces, in closed containers or in cupboards.The device may only be stored indoors.
Set the device to its parking position (see chapter Interrupting operation) and store it indoors in a dry location.
Wipe dirt and detergent residue from the housing by using a damp cloth.
Clean the waste water tank (see chapter Cleaning the waste water tank).
Clean the cleaning brushes, (see chapter Cleaning the disc brushes).
Charge the battery pack (see operating instructions for the battery pack and charger).
Remove the fresh and waste water tank, see Filling the fresh water tank and Emptying the waste water tank.
Bring the device into a vertical position, see Setting the device ergonomically.
Carefully lay the device on its back.
Turn the disc brush to the left to loosen and remove it.

Clean the disc brush under running water.
Allow the disc brush to dry before refitting.
Empty the waste water tank, see Emptying the waste water tank.
Remove the cover of the waste water tank.

Clean the waste water tank and the cover using tap water.
Allow the waste water tank and the lid to dry, or dry them using a lint-free cloth.
Reassemble the waste water tank and insert it back into the device.
The suction lips on the suction bar are symmetrical and can be reversed if worn. If both sides of the suction lips are worn, they can be replaced.
Remove the fresh and waste water tank, see Filling the fresh water tank and Emptying the waste water tank.
Bring the device into a vertical position, see Setting the device ergonomically.
Carefully lay the device on its back.
Pull off the suction bar.

The suction bar is held on the device by two magnets.
Pull the suction lips from the lugs to release them.

Reattach the suction lip with the undamaged side facing downwards.
Replace the suction lip over the magnets.
Malfunctions often have simple causes that you can remedy yourself using the following overview. When in doubt, or in the case of malfunctions not mentioned here, please contact your authorised Customer Service.
The device cannot be switched on
Cause:
The battery pack is flat.
Remedy:
Remove the battery pack from the battery pack holder and charge it (see chapter Ending operation).
Insert the charged battery pack into the battery pack holder until it audibly engages in place (see chapter Inserting the battery pack).
Cause:
The battery pack is not locked into the battery pack holder.
Remedy:
Insert the battery pack into the battery pack holder until it audibly engages in place (see chapter Inserting the battery pack).
