Read this safety chapter and these original instructions before using the device for the first time. Act in accordance with them. Keep the original instructions for future reference or for future owners.
In addition to the notes in the operating instructions, you also need to take into consideration the general safety regulations and accident prevention guidelines applicable by law.
Warnings and information notices attached to the device provide important information for hazard-free operation.

Do not direct the spray jet directly onto consumables containing electrical components, e.g.the interior space of ovens.

Do not charge the battery pack in an explosion-hazard environment.

Protect the power cable from heat, sharp edges, oil and moving parts.
Do not open the charger. Repairs are only to be carried out by qualified personnel.
Only use the charger for charging approved battery packs.
Immediately replace a damaged charger together with charging cable with an original part.
The appliance contains electrical components - do not clean the appliance under running water.
You may not charge the battery pack for longer than 24 hours without interruption.
Do not use the battery pack when dirty or wet.
Keep the charger ventilation slits free of obstructions.
Do not pull the mains plug out the socket using the power supply cable.
Do not carry/transport the device using the power supply cable.
Short circuit hazard. Protect the contacts of the battery pack from metal parts.
Only use and store the charger in dry rooms.
Never touch the mains plug and socket with wet hands.
Never touch contacts or lines.
Never insert conductive objects, e.g. screwdrivers or similar, into the charging socket on the appliance.
Batteries can be swallowed by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities due to lack of experience or knowledge. Keep batteries out of the reach of children and these persons. Swallowing a battery is an emergency that requires immediate medical treatment.
Do not expose the device and battery to strong sunlight, heat or fire.
Danger of explosion. Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Immediately replace a damaged charger or a charging cable with an original parts.
Do not charge any damaged batteries. Replace damaged or degraded batteries with batteries approved by KÄRCHER.
Only use the charger to charge approved batteries.
Leaking battery fluid may cause skin irritation, burns, or eye damage. Batteries contain toxic substances that can cause health problems if swallowed or inhaled. Always wear gloves when handling a leaking battery to avoid skin contact. If the spilled liquid has come into contact with skin or eyes, rinse the affected areas immediately and thoroughly with water and seek medical advice.
Short-circuiting the battery terminals (+/-) can lead to an explosion and ignition. Do not short-circuit the terminals (+/–) on the battery or the device. Do not store batteries in metal containers or with other metal parts.
Batteries contain hazardous substances that can cause serious environmental damage. Do not dispose of batteries with household rubbish, but properly at a collection point or recycling centre.
Fully charge the battery before using the device for the first time.
Only use and store the charger in dry rooms.
Remove used or defective batteries from the device and dispose of them according to local regulations.
The battery compartment of the device is technically secured against accidental opening. Open and close the battery compartment as described in the operating instructions for the device.
Do not use damaged or modified batteries.
When installing batteries, ensure the correct polarity (+/-) according to the markings in the battery compartment or on the electrical plug connections.
The device is not intended for use by children, persons with restricted physical, sensory or mental abilities or persons unfamiliar with these instructions.
Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities and persons lacking experience and knowledge may only use the appliance if they are properly supervised, have been instructed on use of the appliance safely by a person responsible for their safety, and understand the resultant hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Children must be supervised to prevent them from playing with the appliance.
Only use the device for its proper use. Take into account the local conditions and beware of third parties, in particular children, when working with the device.
Adhere to the respective safety regulations in hazard zones (e.g. service stations). Never operate the device in explosive spaces.
Do not spray any objects which contain harmful substances (e.g. asbestos).
Risk of injury. Do not direct the spray jet onto the eyes.
Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped beforehand, is visibly damaged or if it is leaking.
Only operate or store the device in accordance with the description or figure.
Never leave the device unsupervised while it is in operation.
In order to guarantee stability, place the device on a firm, flat surface.
Accidents or damage due to the device falling over. Before all actions with or on the device, you must make sure that it is stable.
Do not fill with any cleaning agents or other supplements.
Device damage. Never fill the water reservoir with solvents, liquids containing solvents or undiluted acids (e.g. detergents, petrol, paint thinners and acetone).
Device damage due to dry running. Only switch on the device when water is present in the water reservoir.
Do not operate the device at temperatures below 0 °C.
Charge the battery with a USB-C charger. When charging for the first time and if no original KÄRCHER charger is used, the specified charging time may vary.
The motor circuit breaker shuts off the device if power consumption it too high.
The packing materials can be recycled. Please dispose of packaging in accordance with the environmental regulations.
Electrical and electronic appliances contain valuable, recyclable materials and often components such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil, which - if handled or disposed of incorrectly - can pose a potential threat to human health and the environment. However, these components are required for the correct operation of the device. Appliances marked by this symbol are not allowed to be disposed of together with the household rubbish.
Remove the battery from the old device as described in the operating instructions. Dispose of the battery separately via suitable collection systems.
Cleaning work that produces oily waste water,e.g. engine washing, underbody washing, may only be carried out at washing stations with oil separators.
The extraction of water from public waters is not allowed in some countries.

Only use the device in private households.
The device is designed for cleaning bicycles, outdoor and hiking equipment, garden machines and furniture, and pets, using a low-pressure water stream with or without the addition of detergents.
Kärcher recommends cleaning pets only in eco!Mode with the watering / shower spray setting.
Only use original accessories and original spare parts. They ensure that the appliance will run fault-free and safely.

The scope of delivery for the appliance is shown on the packaging. Check the contents for completeness when unpacking. If any accessories are missing or in the event of any shipping damage, please notify your dealer.

Charging the battery:

Release the battery cover from the device and bend it downwards.
Plug the USB-C plug of the charging cable into the charging socket.
Plug the USB-A plug of the charging cable into the charger.
Plug the charger into a mains socket.
The LED starts flashing white.
The LED lights up white when the device is fully charged.
After charging
Pull the charger out of the mains socket.
Avoid unnecessary energy consumption and unplug the charger once the battery is fully charged.
Pull the USB-C plug out of the charging socket.
Press the battery cover firmly onto the device.
Fold the handle out:

Fold the handle downwards.
The handle snaps into place.
Fold in the handle:
Pull the handle downwards.
Fold the handle forwards.
Installing the Multi Jet nozzle

Slide the Multi Jet nozzle into the device.
Turn the Multi Jet nozzle 90° until the arrow on the nozzle points to the closed lock symbol.
The nozzle is locked.
Remove the Multi Jet nozzle in the reverse order.
Only operate the device with the supplied suction hose. Do not use any other hoses.
Install the suction hose:

Insert the suction hose hub into the device.
Turn the suction hose hub by 90°.
Remove the suction hose in reverse order.
Install the foam nozzle:

Insert the branch of the foam nozzle into the device.
Turn the foam nozzle by 90°.
Remove the foam nozzle in the reverse order.
Risk of damage due to improper water supply
Damage to the device and accessories.
Only allow the device to draw in clean, clear water.Do not use the device to draw in detergents, pesticides, or other additives.Do not immerse the device in liquids.Install the suction hose.
Risk of damage if dry running!
Dry running damages the pump of the device.
Do not switch on the device if the suction strainer is not fully submerged in water.Switch off the device as soon as the water reservoir or the external water source is empty.Submerge the suction strainer in a water source (e.g. water bucket, can).
Hold the device by the handle.
Switching on:
Press and hold the ON/OFF button.

The device starts.
The LED lights up yellow (Max Mode).
The LED lights up white (eco!Mode).
Switching off:
Release the ON / OFF button.

The device stops.
The LED goes out.
To reduce water consumption and extend battery life, eco!Mode can be switched on.
In the eco!Mode setting, average water consumption is reduced by 24% and average energy consumption by 54% compared to the highest setting (MAX mode).
Switch the device on.
The device starts in MAX mode.
The LED lights up yellow.
Press the eco!Mode button.

The device switches to eco!Mode.
The LED lights up white.
Press the eco!Mode button again.
The device switches to MAX mode.
Risk of injury from spray jet!
The spray jet may cause injury to eyes and ears.
Do not aim the spray jet at the eyes or ears of people or animals.Risk of damage when setting the spray type during operation!
Damage to the Multi Jet nozzle.
Only adjust the Multi Jet nozzle with the device switched off.Rotate the Multi‑Jet nozzle to select the desired spray type (point jet, flat stream, angled flat stream, watering‑/shower spray).

Submerge the suction strainer of the suction hose in a water source.
Risk of damage if dry running!
Dry running damages the pump of the device.
Do not switch on the device if the suction strainer is not fully submerged in water.Switch off the device as soon as the water reservoir or the external water source is empty.Switch the device on.

Improper handling of detergents can lead to death and serious damage to health.
Observe the safety data sheet of the detergent manufacturer, in particular the instructions on personal protective gear.Foreign substances in the water

Do not draw in water that is contaminated with foreign substances.Risk of damage due to detergents acting too long and drying out!

Do not apply detergent to hot surfaces and observe the maximum contact time.Do not allow detergent to dry on the surfaces being cleaned.Fill the detergent into the detergent tank:

Unscrew the foam nozzle from the detergent tank.
Fill the detergent tank with a suitable detergent in the required concentration.
Screw the foam nozzle onto the detergent tank.
Install the foam nozzle with the detergent tank on the device.
Spray the detergent sparingly on the dry surface and let it work for a while (do not let it dry).
Remove the foam nozzle.
Install the Multi Jet nozzle.
Submerge the suction strainer of the suction hose in a water source.
Risk of damage if dry running!
Dry running damages the pump of the device.
Do not switch on the device if the suction strainer is not fully submerged in water.Switch off the device as soon as the water reservoir or the external water source is empty.Switch the device on.
Risk of injury from spray jet!
The spray jet may cause injury to eyes and ears.
Do not aim the spray jet at the eyes or ears of people or animals.Rinse off detergent residues.
Risk of damage!
Damage and malfunction of the foam nozzle due to dried cleaning agents.
Empty the detergent tank immediately after use and rinse it and the foam nozzle with clean water until there is no more detergent in it.Clean the foam nozzle and the detergent tank, see Cleaning the foam nozzle and detergent tank.
Switch off the device.
Remove the suction hose.
Switch the device on.
Wait until no more water comes out.
Switch off the device.
Stow the device.
Stow the charger and the charging cable.
Remove the accessories.
Fold in the handle.
Risk of injury and damage!
If the weight of the device is not observed, there is a risk of injury and damage.
Be aware of the weight of the device during storage.Risk of damage due to frost!
An incompletely emptied device can be damaged by frost.
Completely empty the device and accessories before storing them.Protect the device from frost.Store the device in a frost-free place and not outdoors.Finish operation.
Remove the accessories.
Clean the device and accessories.
Fold in the handle.
Clean the device with a moist cloth.
Hang the filter basket of the suction hose in a container with clear water.
Switch the device on.
Rinse the suction hose with clear water.
Remove the suction hose.
Leave the suction hose to dry.
Remove the foam nozzle with the detergent tank.
Unscrew the foam nozzle from the detergent tank.
Rinse the foam nozzle and detergent tank with clear water.
Leave the foam nozzle and detergent tank to dry.
Screw the foam nozzle onto the detergent tank.
Risk of damage due to improper cleaning!
The fine filter is damaged by improper cleaning.
Clean the fine filter only under running water against its flow direction.Do not use sharp or hard objects such as needles or wire brushes.
Remove the fine filter:
Unscrew the suction strainer.
Pull the fine filter off.
Clean the fine filter and suction strainer with clean, flowing water against the direction of flow.
Leave the fine filter and the suction strainer to dry.
Install the fine filter in the reverse order.
The battery has reached the end of its service life if the device constantly switches off after a short period of operation and the battery needs to be charged.
Risk of explosion and fire if non-approved batteries or battery packs are used!
Severe injuries and/or material damage.
Replace damaged and worn batteries or battery packs exclusively with batteries or battery packs approved by Kärcher.Open the battery cover.
Removing the battery:

Open the cover.
Unscrew the screw.
Remove the cover.
Unscrew the screw.
Remove the cylinder with the battery while holding the device downwards.
Install the new battery in the reverse order.
Dispose of the battery in the correct manner.
Contact with live parts
Electric shock
Switch off the device and remove the battery before performing any work on the device.Have repair work and work on electrical components carried out only by authorized Customer Service personnel.You can remedy minor faults using the following overview.
If in any doubt, please contact your authorised Customer Service.
The LED quickly flashes yellow 15 times.
Cause:
Undervoltage or overvoltage of the charger
Remedy:
Check the charging connection and the charging cable.
Replace the charger.
The LED quickly flashes yellow 10 times.
Cause:
The battery has overheated or the motor has malfunctioned.Remedy:
Have the device checked by Kärcher Service.
The LED slowly flashes yellow 10 times.
Cause:
The temperature during discharging/operation is too low or too high.
Remedy:
Switch off the device.
Allow the device to cool down / heat up.
Switch on the device and put it into operation.
Have the device checked by Kärcher Service if this malfunction occurs repeatedly.
The device switches off automatically.
Cause:
Overheating of the device or battery.
Remedy:
Let the device or the battery cool down.
The device switches off automatically.
Cause:
The device or the battery is overheated/too cold.
Remedy:
Allow the device or battery to cool down or heat up.
Do not place the device and the battery in the sun or operate/store them outside the permissible ambient temperature range.
Device not building up pressure.
Cause:
The nozzle is dirty.
Remedy:
Use a needle to remove dirt from the nozzle hole.
Rinse the nozzle from the front with water.
Cause:
The water supply is too low
Remedy:
Check the water inlet for sufficient flow rate.
Check the fine filter in the water connection.
