• If the operating instructions and safety instructions are not observed, the device can be damaged and dangers could arise for users and other persons.

• Notify the dealer immediately in the case of shipping damage.

• Check the package contents when unpacking for missing accessories or for damage.

• In addition to the information in the operating instructions, you also need to take into consideration the general safety regulations and accident prevention guidelines applicable by law.

• Warnings and information notices attached to the device provide important information for hazard-free operation.

The laser radar of the device complies with IEC 60825-1:2014 for Class 1 laser product safety and does not produce laser radiation that is hazardous to the human body.

The packing materials can be recycled. Please dispose of packaging in accordance with the environmental regulations.

Electrical and electronic devices contain valuable, recyclable materials and often components such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil, which - if handled or disposed of incorrectly - can pose a potential danger to human health and the environment. However, these components are required for the correct operation of the device. Devices marked by this symbol are not allowed to be disposed of together with the household rubbish.

The device consists of two units, a charging station and a battery-powered cleaning robot.

• This cleaning robot is designed for fully automatic wet and dry cleaning.

• No water-sensitive floor coverings such asuntreated cork floors, since the moisture can penetrate and damage the floor.

• The device is suitable for cleaning carpets, PVC, linoleum, tiles, stone, oiled and waxed parquet, laminate and all water-resistant floor coverings.

• This device has been developed for use in private households and is not intended for the load imposed by commercial use.

Only use original accessories and original spare parts. They ensure that the appliance will run fault-free and safely.

Information on accessories and spare parts can be found at www.kaercher.com.

Check the contents for completeness when unpacking. If any accessories are missing or in the event of any shipping damage, please notify your dealer.

• The mobile cleaning robot draws its energy from a built-in rechargeable battery, which it regularly recharges at the charging station provided. If the battery charge is too low, it automatically returns to the charging station to recharge and, if necessary, pauses the current cleaning task.

• Once charging is complete, the cleaning robot automatically leaves the charging station and resumes cleaning if a task was interrupted. The cleaning robot also returns to the charging station when it has finished cleaning.

• The cleaning robot communicates status messages via a voice output and various LED colours on the device.

• The cleaning robot moves systematically. It scans the room with a laser sensor (LiDAR) and then cleans the room step-by-step.

• The cleaning robot has cliff sensors that can detect staircases and steps, designed to prevent it from falling.

• The ultrasound sensor is used for carpet detection, which can be activated and deactivated individually in the app. Depending on the configuration, the cleaning robot avoids carpets.

• The cleaning robot has a dry dust container, a main brush, a side brush and 2 moping discs. These components make it possible to clean dry and wet at the same time. The suction process collects all dust particles and coarse dirt in the dry dust container so that no dust particles and coarse dirt are picked up during wet cleaning.

• In the multifunctional charging station, the dust is removed from the dust container. It is also possible to wash and dry the mopping cloth in the charging station.

Suction can only take place under the following conditions:

• The cleaning robot is in the charging station.

• A dust bag is suspended in the charging station.

The cleaning robot automatically switches to sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity. Press any button to wake it up.

• The cleaning robot does not switch to sleep mode when it is on the charging station.

• The cleaning robot switches off automatically if it is in sleep mode for more than 6 hours

It is possible to activate the "Do not disturb" mode. In "Do not disturb" mode, the cleaning robot does not emit any acoustic warnings. The LED lights are switched off.

"Do not disturb" mode can be activated in the App. Downloading the App is described in the chapter Connecting cleaning robots with WLAN and App.

In the app, there is the option to navigate the robot if it gets stuck in an inaccessible place, for example.

This remote control can be selected in the app under "APP settings" > "Feature settings" > "More features".

• Select the location so that the cleaning robot can easily reach the charging station.

  ATTENTION

  Risk of damaging the floor due to moisture

  The wet wiping mop can damage the floor during charging.

  Position the charging station on a water-resistant floor.

• Ensure a distance of at least 0.5 m to the left and right of the charging station and a distance of at least 1.5 m in front of the charging station.

• The location must not be exposed to direct sunlight.

2. Plug the device plug of the power cable into the charging socket on the charging station.

3. Connect the mains plug.

1. Place the cleaning robot manually on the charging station and make sure that the battery terminals have a good contact.

   The cleaning robot switches on automatically. The LED buttons light up.

The cleaning robot can be operated directly via buttons on the device or via an App using a WLAN-enabled mobile device. To be able to use all available functions we recommended controlling the cleaning robot via the KÄRCHER Indoor Robots App.

Before you download the app, make sure you have the following:

• The mobile device is connected to the Internet.

• The 2.4 GHz WLAN of the router is activated.

• Sufficient WLAN coverage is guaranteed.

Connecting cleaning robots with WLAN and KÄRCHER Indoor Robots App:

1. Download the KÄRCHER Indoor Robots App from the Apple App Store or from the Google Play Store.

2. Open the KÄRCHER Indoor Robots App.

3. Create an account (if you are not already registered).

4. Add the desired cleaning robot.

5. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the App.

1. Delete the device on APP.

2. Press the On/Off button and the “Home button” simultaneously for 3 seconds until a voice says: “Reset the Wi-Fi connection and enter network configuration mode”.

1. Turn the cleaning robot upside down.

2. Fit the side brush.

   ---

   

1. Turn the cleaning robot upside down.

2. Fit the mopping discs.

   ---

   

1. Removing the fresh water tank.

2. Pull the tab on the cover of the fresh water tank and lift up the cover.

3. Fill the fresh water tank with cold or lukewarm tap water up to the MAX marking.

4. ATTENTION

   Damage to the device due to corrosion and chemical content materials.

   Do not put detergents, disinfectants or other cleaning products into the fresh water container.

   Do not pour hot water into the fresh water container.

5. Installing the fresh water tank.

1. Open the front cover of the charging station.

2. Push the dust bag into the intake.

3. Close the front cover of the charging station.

• Keep the floor free of objects lying around to ensure efficient cleaning. Obstacles require time-consuming cleaning because the cleaning robot has to drive around objects.

• Open the doors of the rooms that are to be cleaned.

• When operating the cleaning robot with the app: Carry out the configuration in the app so that the cleaning robot can clean according to individual cleaning requirements (no-go zones, different cleaning parameters, etc.), see chapter Creating a map.

Cleaning can also be started from the cleaning robot without an app. The following commands can be executed using the buttons:

• Start cleaning via the On/Off/Pause button.

• Interrupt cleaning via the On/Off/Pause button.

• Return the cleaning robot manually to the charging station via the Home button.

The cleaning robot automatically returns to the charging station for recharging when it has completed a cleaning task or when the battery is too low during a cleaning process.

The KÄRCHER Indoor Robots App offers the following main functions, among others:

• Step-by-step guide for configuration options

• Map creation for rooms and several floors

• Setting of time schedules

• Definition of no-go zones and virtual walls

• Notes on faults or malfunctions and the cleaning progress

   The cleaning robot gives a audible signal and starts the map creation.

   When the map creation is finished, the cleaning robot returns to the charging station.

Individual configurations of the map can be made in the app.

• Virtual walls and restricted areas prevent the cleaning robot from entering areas that should not be cleaned.

• With room cleaning or cleaning zones, the robot can specifically clean the areas selected by the user once.

• With different cleaning modes, the cleaning intensity can be selected individually for each room depending on the type of floor or soiling (amount of water, number of passes per area, suction power, etc.)

Downloading the app is described in the chapter Connecting cleaning robots with WLAN and App.

Depending on the setting in the app, the dust in the dust container is automatically vacuumed at regular intervals when it moves into the charging station.

Manually emptying the dust container:

1. Open the top cover.

2. Press the clip and grip the dust container by the handle grooves to remove it from the device.

   ---

   

3. Open the flap.

   ---

   

4. Empty the dust container.

5. Close the flap until it audibly latches into place.

6. Insert the dust container.

7. To continue cleaning, press the On/Off button.

1. Press and hold the On/Off/Pause button 3 seconds.

   The LED buttons go out.

   The cleaning robot switches off.

2. Empty the waste water tank in the charging station and rinse with fresh water, seeCleaning the charging station waste water tank.

3. Clean the wiping mop and allow to dry, see chapter Cleaning the wiping mop.

4. Clean the cleaning brush, see Cleaning the cleaning brush.

If you switch to a new router or change your WLAN password, you must update the cleaning robot's WLAN connection.

1. Switch on the cleaning robot, see chapter Switching on the cleaning robot.

2. Press the On/Off/Pause button and the Home button simultaneously for 3 seconds until an acoustic signal sounds.

1. Press the Home button for 5 seconds until a signal sounds.

2. Press the Home button again for 5 seconds until a signal sounds.

   The factory settings are restored.

Where possible, always transport or return the device in the original packaging. Please contact our Service Department if the original packaging is not available.

The lithium-ion battery is subject to the requirements of dangerous goods regulations.

An undamaged and functional battery pack can be transported by the user in public traffic areas without any further restrictions.

When shipping by third parties (transport companies), special requirements for packaging and labelling must be observed.

Observe the national regulations.

1. Open the front cover of the charging station.

2. Remove the filter bag.

3. If necessary, clean the interior space of the charging station and the motor protection filter, see Cleaning the motor protection filter.

4. Unfold the new dust bag and push it into the support.

   ---

   

5. Close the front cover of the charging station.

2. Remove the filter bag.

3. Remove the motor protection filter.

4. Clean the motor protection filter under running water.

5. Allow the motor protection filter to dry.

6. Insert the motor protection filter into the charging station.

7. Insert the dust bag, see Insert dust bag.

8. Close the front cover of the charging station.

1. Remove the waste water tank.

2. Pull the tab on the cover of the waste water tank and lift up the cover.

3. Empty the waste water tank. In case of stubborn dirt, rinse the waste water tank with fresh water or clean it with the cleaning brush.

4. Close the cover of the waste water tank.

5. Insert the waste water tank into the charging station.

Clean the sensors at least monthly. Always clean the sensors immediately if they become dirty.

We recommend cleaning the filters regularly. This prevents them from becoming clogged.

2. Press the clip and grip the dust container by the handle grooves to remove it from the device.

3. Remove the filter. Clean the filter under running water with the cleaning tool supplied.

4. Allow the filter to dry completely.

5. Press the filter into position.

6. Insert the dust container.

4. Remove the cleaning brush.

5. Clean the cleaning brush with the cleaning tool supplied.

7. Fit the brush cover and press it down until it audibly latches into place.

Dirt particles (such as sand, etc.) can get stuck on the running surface and then damage sensitive, smooth floor surfaces.

1. Clean the running surface of the wheels with a damp cloth.

1. Turn the cleaning robot upside down.

2. Remove the mopping discs.

3. Remove the wiping mops from mopping discs.

4. Wash the wiping mops and dry them completely.

Malfunctions often have simple causes that you can remedy yourself using the following overview. When in doubt, or in the case of malfunctions not mentioned here, please contact your authorized Customer Service.

• Battery does not charge 

• The cleaning robot is not returning to the charging station 

• The multifunctional station does not work properly 

Cause:

The charging contacts are dirty.

Remedy:

1. Wipe the charging contacts on both the charging station and the cleaning robot with a dry cloth.

Cause:

Ambient temperature below 0 °C or above 35 °C.

Remedy:

1. Use the cleaning robot at temperatures above 0 °C and below 35 °C.

Cause:

The mains cable of the charging station is not plugged in.

Remedy:

1. Plug in the mains cable of the charging station.

Cause:

The battery is empty.

Remedy:

1. Manually place the cleaning robot on the charging station and let it charge completely.

Cause:

The cleaning robot is too far away from the charging station.

Remedy:

1. Move the cleaning robot closer to the charging station.

2. Manually place the cleaning robot on the charging station.

Cause:

Not enough space around the charging station.

Remedy:

1. Ensure that there is sufficient space around the charging station, see chapter Setting up the charging station.

Cause:

There are too many obstacles around the charging station.

Remedy:

1. Place the charging station in a more open area, see chapter Setting up the charging station.

Cause:

The cleaning robot remaps its environment when it has been moved over a longer distance.

Remedy:

1. Manually place the cleaning robot on the charging station.

Cause:

The cleaning robot was not started from the charging station. In this case, it only returns to the place from which it was started.

Remedy:

1. Manually place the cleaning robot on the charging station.

Cause:

The mains cable of the charging station is not plugged in.

Remedy:

1. Plug in the mains cable of the charging station.

Cause:

The cleaning robot is not positioned correctly on the charging station.

Remedy:

1. Manually place the cleaning robot on the charging station.

Cause:

The dust bag is full.

Remedy:

1. Change the dust bag (see Changing the dust bag).

Cause:

There is no dust bag or it is installed incorrectly.

Remedy:

1. Insert the dust bag or check that it is installed properly.

Cause:

Fresh water tank is empty.

Remedy:

1. Refilling the fresh water tank.

Cause:

Waste water tank is full.

Remedy:

1. Empty the waste water tank.

Cause:

There is no water tank or it is installed incorrectly.

Remedy:

1. Install the water tank correctly.

Cause:

There is no washing tray filter or it is installed incorrectly.

Remedy:

1. Install the washing tray filter correctly.

If the malfunction cannot be corrected, the device must be checked by the Customer Service department.

• Battery does not charge
