UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Series
Kärcher is an official partner of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Series. Since 2025, we have been at selected events in person, ensuring that bikes are superbly cleaned using our cleaning technology.
Tough races, clean bikes
Whenever mountain bikers come together to compete for the best times, mud and dust are certain to be part of the experience. But mountain biking is more than just battling the elements: it’s the thrill of overcoming nature – and even your own limits. To ensure that the equipment can deliver top performance at all times, Kärcher has been a proud Cleaning Partner and part of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup family since 2025.
We are actively involved at selected events, using our professional cleaning solutions to ensure that both man and machine can truly shine. Whether it’s fast-paced downhill runs, technical enduro stages or gruelling cross-country laps: We reliably remove all evidence of training and competition from the bikes. This allows us to create the perfect conditions for the mechanics and the start of the next race – we take care of cleaning so that the athletes can keep their eyes firmly fixed on the finish line.
At these World Cup Series events, we serve as Cleaning Partner to prepare the bikes – so riders can achieve their best times:

Mountain biking disciplines
Cross-Country Olympic (XCO)
This is the classic Olympic discipline of mountain biking. The races take place on a circuit that is completed several times and offers a mix of climbs and descents. The route includes natural obstacles such as roots and stones. XCO requires riders to have a high level of endurance as well as exceptional technical riding skills.
Cross-Country Short Track (XCC)
Short Track is a shortened and extremely intense version of Cross-Country. The race takes place on a significantly shorter circuit, which is often wider and less technical than in XCO. The race usually lasts only about 20 minutes. Due to the high speed in this discipline, sprinting ability and tactical behavior are paramount.
Enduro
Enduro is a format that focuses on downhill riding but requires physical fitness. A race consists of several timed downhill sections, known as stages. Riders usually have to cover the connecting routes between these stages under their own steam (uphill); however, this time is not included in the classification. The goal is to be the fastest rider across of all descents.
Downhill (DH)
This is purely a downhill time trial. The route is exclusively on a descent and features an array of obstacles such as roots, stones and jumps. The riders start one at a time and try to complete the course as quickly as possible. It’s all about speed and technical mastery of the bike in difficult terrain.
Bring back the WOW to your bike – The Kärcher Bike Cleaning Station
After a ride, cleaning the bike is a must. In our role as Cleaning Partner, we use professional equipment to ensure that the bikes are cleaned brilliantly. Pressure washers with reduced pressure are used in the cleaning boxes. Thanks to the extra-short spray lance, all areas of the bike can be easily reached, and the ergonomic EASY!Force trigger gun ensures fatigue-free and accurate work. The special nozzle reduces the water pressure to a gentle ~400 bar. This allows for all parts of the bike to be cleaned gently and safely, even the most delicate components such as the bearings and seals. Sustainability is a key consideration at the same time: The dirty water is collected in the boxes themselves and disposed of properly to responsibly protect the environment.
Cleaning your bike on the go.
Cycling is enjoyable, environmentally friendly, and beneficial to one’s health. If you want to enjoy your mountain bike, road bike, city bike or e-bike for as long as possible, you should clean and maintain it regularly. With the right machines and accessories, it’s quick and easy – whether in front of the garage, in the garden or even out and about.
