Easter Egg Hunt Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Kärcher South Africa (“the Promoter”).
2. Competition Period
The competition will run from 27/03/2026 to 12/04/2026 (“the Competition Period”).
Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
3. Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of South Africa only.
Participants must be 18 years or older.
Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates, agencies, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
4. Entry Mechanics
To enter the competition, participants must:
Visit the official Kärcher South Africa website during the Competition Period.
Locate and identify three (3) hidden Easter eggs placed across selected website pages, please see below easter egg as an example of what the Easter Egg looks like.
Take clear screenshots of all three Easter eggs as proof of discovery.
Participants must then submit their entry using one (1) of the following methods:
Option A: Social Media Entry
Post the three screenshots on Facebook or Instagram.
Tag the official Kärcher South Africa account.
Facebook - @Karcher (ZA)
Instagram - @Karcher South Africa
Linkedin - @Karcher South Africa
Include the campaign hashtag - #Karcher #KarcherEasterHunt.
Option B: Email Entry
Email the three screenshots to marketing.za@karcher.com.
Include full name, surname, and contact details.
5. Entry Requirements
All three Easter eggs must be correctly identified and clearly visible in the screenshots.
Only one entry per participant will be accepted.
Incomplete, unclear, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries.
6. Rewards and Prizes
6.1 Guaranteed Reward
Participants who successfully submit valid entries will receive a discount coupon for their next Kärcher purchase.
The coupon:
Is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
Will be subject to specific validity dates and terms of use.
6.2 Grand Prize Draw
All valid entries will be entered into a random draw to stand a chance to win a Kärcher CVH Anniversary Edition valued at R1799.00.
The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or alternative products.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected by random draw after the competition closing date.
The winner will be notified via the contact details provided and/or announced on official Kärcher South Africa platforms.
If the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
8. General Conditions
Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to:
Amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
Disqualify any participant who breaches these Terms and Conditions or engages in misconduct.
The Promoter will not be held liable for:
Any technical issues, including website access or submission failures.
Lost, delayed, or incomplete entries.
9. POPIA and Data Protection
Personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering this competition.
By entering, participants consent to the processing of their personal information in accordance with applicable South African data protection laws.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
