Not for commercial use!
Adhere to the respective safety regulations in hazard zones (e. g. service stations). Never operate the device or charge the battery in explosive atmospheres or spaces, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. The device or battery charger could create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
Never touch the battery charger plug and socket with wet hands.
Short circuit hazard! Do not insert conductive objects (such as screwdrivers or similar) into the charging socket of the device or the battery charger plug. Keep the charging socket of the device and the battery charger plug away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
Danger of explosion. Do not charge any non-rechargeable battery.
Use the device and accessories in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the device for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
The device is not intended for use by children, persons with restricted physical, sensory or mental abilities or persons unfamiliar with these instructions.
The device should only be operated by persons who have been instructed with regard to its use, or those who have demonstrated their ability to operate it and have been expressly authorized to do so.
Children must not play with the device or the battery charger.
Children must be supervised to prevent them from playing with the device or the battery charger.
Only use the device and battery charger for its proper use and take into account the local conditions.
Risk of injury. Avoid contact with the rotating scraper disc. Replace the protective cap when not using the device.
Do not use the device or battery charger if it is not working as it should, has been dropped, left outdoors, dropped into water, is damaged or leaking.

Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection.
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in off‑position before picking up, carrying or charging the device. Carrying the device with your fingers on the switch or while the device is turned on invites accidents..
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelery. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless action can cause severe injury within a fraction of a second.
Operate the device in well lit areas. Dark areas invite accidents.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating the device. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
Keep scraper disc sharp and clean. Properly maintained scraper discs with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
Do not use the device if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Store idle device out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the device or these instructions to operate the device. The device is dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Maintain the device and accessories. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the device’s operation. If damaged, have the device repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained devices.
Disconnect the battery charger plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the device. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the device accidentally.
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury:
Immediately replace a damaged battery charger together with charging cable with an original part.
