How to make a landmark and its surroundings shine again
On 22 September 2021, Kärcher cleaned the fountain under the statue of St. George in the so-called "Freedom Square" of Tbilisi, Georgia. Over the years, a lot of dirt, dust, bird droppings and residues from emissions had accumulated, so Kärcher saw the need to take action and rid the monument of all the dirt with two HD 8/23 high-pressure cleaners. The SP 7 Dirt submersible pump was used to subsequently pump out the contaminated water. But to make the landmark shine again, Kärcher also wanted to clean its surroundings - with the sweeper KM 70/20.
Eco-friendly cleaning
To protect the environment, the entire cleaning process was done without chemical cleaning agents - only high pressure and cold water was used. The team consisted of ten volunteers who were very happy to be part of this significant cleaning project.
