Kärcher supports monument preservation in the Philippines
Kärcher cleaned St. Andrew's Cathedral in the city of Paranque in the Philippines free of charge as part of its cultural sponsorship.
Kärcher not only takes care of the cleaning needs of companies and private individuals, but also the preservation of historical buildings and monuments. An impressive example of this is the cleaning of St. Andrew's Cathedral in Parañaque in the Philippines. The church, one of the oldest in the Philippines, was founded in 1580 by Spanish Augustinian monks and is now the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Parañaque.
The Kärcher Philippines team took on the challenge of giving St. Andrew's Cathedral a new shine. The façade of the cathedral was heavily affected by organic soiling, emission pollution and dust. The HDS 12/18-4 S Classic and HDS 7/11 hot water high-pressure cleaners were used to successfully remove these contaminants from the façade.
